A Happy New Year and our sincere thanks

 The recession, the death of a key player, extensive flooding and bridges washed away in Malawi; 2009 was not an easy year for us but with the magnificent support we received from our friends and donors we have won through. 

We truly value every donation, however great or small.  

Our Children's Mobile Clinic and our Mobile Surgical Unit have gone from strength to strength, taking quality medical care to village children in the remotest regions. Our new programme, a Centre of Excellence for children with AIDS is achieving remarkable success rates and is being cited as the model that must be urgently replicated throughout resource-poor environments that face this challenge. This is because the current levels of mortality and morbidity suffered at centres treating AIDS patients in sub Saharan Africa can be unacceptably high.
