We have been educating the local community on the coronavirus pandemic and the need for masks; clearly, it did not fall on deaf ears as a little girl who turned up proudly at our clinic with one she had made from a discarded toothpaste packet. While our nurses were delighted to see that even youngsters were taking the coronavirus education so seriously, they did have to gently explain that a real mask was needed.
